Whether your event is large or small we accommodate all! Choose from four event spaces ranging from 573 - 2,470 square feet. Guests of the SKY Room will also enjoy wired/wireless Internet access, state of the art business amenities, A/V capabilities, catering options, and more. Room block options are also available at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Midtown conveniently located on property.

Jaws drop as guests step into the SKY Room and set their sights on Atlanta’s twinkling skyline. A band on the far end of the room fills the air with elegant music, food and refreshment tables line the perimeter, and finely decorated tables dot the space around the dance floor. Feet tap and dresses twirl as couples dance, friends laugh, and just about every guest takes a picture with the gorgeous skyline.

Meet Our Executive Chef

A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Executive Chef William Read is an emissary of a big heart and small town values. Chef Read found is calling to culinary at an early age when receiving his first cookbook at age 10 from his parents and grandparents. Chef Read is a graduate of Business Administration from Ferris University and decided to follow his passion of cuisine and earned his Culinary Degree from Grand Rapids Community College.

The rest as they say is history!

Receiving many accolades along the way such as, Spire Hospitality F&B Associate of the Year, Featured in Grand Rapids Magazine Chef Profile, American Culinary Federation ChefProfessional of the Year Nominee, and many more… Chef Read was highly sought after to fill the position of Executive Chef for the premier opening of the SKY Venue.

He quickly became an indispensable asset, bringing his well-rounded palate and creativity to everything he touched. He believes the most flavorful cuisine is made simply with the best, highest quality products and he considers it part of his job to inspire and educate guests.

As he states if asked, “I Love All Food”, especially if it’s prepared fresh, looks appealing, and has balance with texture, color, and taste. There is nothing like fresh cut herbs or vegetables. My favorite “Spice” is Kosher Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper. New cooks are always reluctant to use enough salt and pepper.
